During a motorcycle tour in Italy fifty years ago, Oskar F. Weishäupl stumbled upon oversized market umbrellas in Verona. Recognizing their rarity for everyday consumers, he turned this discovery into a success story by manufacturing them in his small factory in Bavaria.
