IM KULT was born out of Andreas Eisenkeil’s (the owner of Lichtstudio Eisenkeil) passion for culinary delights. “Here industrial charm meets modern elements, such a big city flair is rarely found in our tranquil little country.” The renovated soap factory from the 1920s combines culinary and design in a concept store and bistro.
Loving details from the remnants of the soap factory can be found in every corner and on the walls. Whether for an aperitivo, for a cozy date with dinner or an extended breakfast, IM KULT is the right place. A visit to the concept store, where the Makers Bible is also available, is always worthwhile!
In the IM KULT, the toilets are cult: The localities in the basement should be seen, it is rumored to be the most unique in all of South Tyrol – here, for the first time, entire walls were covered with the material Cocoon and backlit – so to speak, a huge light body made of Cocoon. The integrated mirrors and the water on the floor make the room seem endless.
The special resin-like material Cocoon, which is sprayed layer by layer onto pre-formed metal parts, was used by Andreas Eisenkeil’s father – a pioneer of Italian design culture – for his iconic lights. Now in the hands of Andreas, Lichtstudio Eisenkeil produces, designs and distributes luminaires for private clients and customers in various commercial sectors. The showroom in Marling is one of the largest specialized lighting exhibitions in Italy. Here, of course, you will find classics and internationally successful lighting labels, but also light art and unique pieces, because light, everyone here is convinced, is an individual thing and is also perceived as such.

It’s virtually impossible to miss Julius Brantner Brothandwerk if you’re a fan of baked goods and find yourself in Munich. The charming Swabian baker has recently opened his second location, the first being such a success. With his team working transparently behind large glass windows, Julius strives to make “honest and trustworthy handling of all ingredients and processes accessible,” he says. Unsurprisingly, locals and tourists flock to the shopfront to sample their aromatic bread and delectable treats.
